Chapter 10
Spinning
After dinner, Tracy and I walked over to the Frontier Tower because I wanted to show her the model of Big Thunder Mountain in the lobby—it is her favorite attraction, after all.
I love how even the opossums got included.
We thought briefly about going over to Trader Sam’s to complete our mission from the Adventure Trading Company, but we ended up deciding against it simply because we were still so stuffed from dinner that we didn’t really want to try to fit anything else into our stomachs right now.
Instead, we went back to the parks. Starting in DCA, we got a return time for Toy Story Mania. Our performances on this attraction have never quite been up to par in last year or so as compared to when we both were in the habit of breaking 200,000—but we didn’t do terribly either. I won this round.
As we left DCA, I took a picture of the grumpy mannequin in the window because he always makes me laugh.
Hopping over to Disneyland, I know we went back and did a few things in Fantasyland, but I haven’t the foggiest idea what any of them were because I didn’t write it down. I do know that we rode the Mad Tea Party, however, and Tracy actually insisted on spinning the wheel a little in spite of my protests.
We didn’t stay in the park too late this evening because we wanted to be as refreshed as we could for the two full Disneyland days ahead. I think we ended up heading back to the hotel around 10:00 and realized just how exhausted we were from a busy week when our heads hit the pillows and we fell fast asleep for our last night at the Fairfield.
