Jimmy kind of bummed us out when he did his pre-show spiel in the Walt Disney Theatre tonight, because it was all focused on how our cruise was almost over and how we needed to prepare to disembark in the morning.
When Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic began, however, we got whisked away into lands of fantasy. Peter Pan helped teach Anne Marie about the power of her dreams, and we got to see several guest appearances by favorite characters. Of all the shows we saw on the cruise, this was definitely our favorite. It’s won a bunch of awards, and I can certainly see why.
The performance was almost immediately followed by ‘Til We Meet Again, the farewell show in the atrium. The assistant cruise director introduced our favorite characters—including several from the various shows.
And of course, the Fab Five were there, in addition to several princesses.
Once everyone comes down the stairs, it was basically a free-for-all for about 10 minutes, and we were able to go around and meet/chat with/take pictures with whomever we wanted to see.
We were, without a doubt, most excited to see Ensign Benson from the Golden Mickeys. And she was really excited that we were so excited to see her.
The “Circle of Life” number had really brought down the house during Disney Dreams, and here were a couple of the performers.
Minnie was just chilling with literally no one around her at one point.
And here are Peter Pan and Anne Marie from tonight’s show.
This guy had also played Jeremy in the first show, way back when we had just boarded the ship.
When we saw Jimmy lurking around, we had to go get a picture with him, so we took this selfie.
We also met Goofy.
And Cinderella.
Finally, everyone started to make their way back to the stairs so that they could do a last farewell.
This is Disney, so no one is allowed to actually say “goodbye,” but we did get a “see ya real soon!”

And then the characters started to disburse.
Once everyone was gone from the atrium, we booked it over to Wavebands, where John Charles (the entertainer from the previous night in the Walt Disney Theatre) was doing a smaller show.
It was super popular and ended up filling up, but we were able to get decent seats. We enjoyed his unique blend of music and comedy again, and it was very much worth our time.
After John Charles was done, the cruise staff host came out onstage and told us not to leave just yet.
Instead, he said, we would be treated to a performance that is now only offered on cruises of longer than 7 nights (which are few and far between!). It’s a farewell from the entire cruise staff team called “If I Were Not Upon the Sea.”
I truly don’t even know how to explain exactly what this show is. Like, it’s basically indescribable.
Here’s a video that I didn’t take, just so you can see how ridiculous the “skit” was. It’s also important to understand that we’d spent so much time around the cruise staff at this point, that it was much easier to laugh at them.

By the time the cruise staff’s show was over, it was already almost midnight, and we had to be up in just a few hours. So we went back to our stateroom and hit the hay one last time.
