Meet Taylor and Tracy

Hi there, and welcome to our blog!

I’m Taylor, and my wife Tracy and I are longtime Disney and travel aficionados! We hail from Boulder, CO, though we have also lived in both New York City and Orange County, CA (just minutes from Disneyland). This blog started with, and will probably always revolve around, trip reports, which I love to write about our various adventures. You can find plenty of Disney trip reports—focusing on our vacations to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line—in addition to descriptions of other journeys we’ve taken across the country (and around the world).

Tracy and I have been together since 2005 and got married in 2010. High school sweethearts, we also survived four years of a long-distance relationship while we went to college more than 2,000 miles apart. Since getting married, we have tried living in urban centers and suburbia, but we decided that we felt most at home back in beautiful Boulder.

Both of us were Disney-lovers growing up, and we had gone to the theme parks on both coasts in our childhoods. Our first Walt Disney World trip together in 2008, however, re-instilled a love for all things Disney and set us off on all sorts of fun adventures.

We Started Dating!

This is far from the most glamorous photo of us, but it’s the first one we ever took together.

Our Junior Prom

Our Senior Prom

We Graduated High School

2007

Our First Road Trip

We took a road trip thru Yellowstone, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and up to Seattle. We also took the ferry across to Victoria, B.C.

7th Harry Potter Book Release

2008

First Walt Disney World Trip Together!

We went to Florida together for the first time and stayed at Pop Century for 7 nights. This was the ultimate commando trip (ah, youth…), and we visited all the parks, both water parks, Disney Quest, Universal, and more.

2009

Summer in NYC

We spent the summer after our junior years in college living together in New York!

We Got Engaged!

I proposed to Tracy in the same place where we had our first kiss.

Tracy Graduated!

Tracy graduated from college at the top of her class and moved to join me in NYC, ending the long-distance part of our relationship.
