Today’s post is unrelated to any others — just a quick look at Dobby, the baby giraffe at the Denver Zoo. In case you haven’t heard about his unique story, you can do so here. Tracy and I were already at the zoo on Saturday (we’re members), but we had to go back down again on Sunday afternoon when we saw online that Dobby was out on display for the first time. He’s adorable, and we hope to hear that his health continues to improve over the coming weeks!

Alpine Slide GoPro Video
This isn’t a real blog update because it doesn’t correlate to any trip reports, but I was going through videos on my computer and found this one that I took last winter up in Glenwood Springs. We visited the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park when we were there for Tracy’s birthday weekend, and I took a GoPro video riding the alpine slide they have up there. Thought I’d share it here for fun!

How I Spent My Summer Vacation: The Bad
As is so often the case, our summer hasn’t exactly been all good. We’ve had a few hiccups along the way. First, Tracy had what seemed like a really bad case of the stomach flu at the beginning of July. After missing a week of work, she finally started to feel better. A few days after the …

I can’t believe that it’s almost been two whole months since Tracy and I packed up all of our stuff once again and drove across the country back to Colorado. I’ve appreciated how so many of you have started reading along with my Disney Cruise Line trip report, and I hope you’ve been enjoying reliving …
